Sophie Blet: Plus que la peau des choses

“Plus que la peau des choses” unfolds like a medium, a threshold space between organic form and its reflected domain or its becoming-other, in a constant indeterminacy between surface-relic and the beginning of an intensive movement, of a possible latent energy.
In a play of repetitions, duplications and multiple reflections that create a slight disorientation, liminal, quasi-white, immutable and silent forms rub shoulders with entropic as well as generative and substantial forces. The installations here attempt to unfold the silent dimensions of time and things - and, in turn, our ways of inhabiting the world. How we affect it and are affected by it in return.
